Your server already has FastDL, which sends custom maps to players over the web automatically. If you'd rather host those files on your own web server, set a download redirect instead.
Setting Up A Download Redirect
- 1On your web host, upload your custom content with the same folders it has inside your server's
ahl2folder, for examplemaps/act_mymap.bspandmaterials/.... - 2Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 3In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 4Under
Modding, findDownload Redirect URLand enter the web address of the folder that holdsmaps, for examplehttp://maps.example.com/actionsource. - 5Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
To go back to the built-in FastDL, clear the Download Redirect URL field and click Save & Restart.
Note
The game adds the folder and file name to your address, so a player downloading act_mymap.bsp fetches http://maps.example.com/actionsource/maps/act_mymap.bsp.
