Your server comes with built-in fast downloads. When a player joins without one of your custom maps or mods, the game downloads it over the web from your server, which is much faster than the game's own download. There's nothing to set up: maps and mods you upload are ready for download after the next restart.
If you'd rather serve the files from your own web host, you can set a download redirect instead.
Using Your Own Download Server

usermapsandmodsfolders to a web host, keeping the same folder layout, for examplehttp://files.example.com/cod4/usermaps/mp_mymap/mp_mymap.ff. - 2Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 3In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 4Under
Modding, findDownload Redirect URLand enter the web address of the folder that holdsusermapsandmods, for examplehttp://files.example.com/cod4. - 5Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
To go back to the built-in fast downloads, clear the Download Redirect URL field and click Save & Restart.
