How To Edit The Server Config On Your Call of Duty 4 Server

Settings that aren't on the Settings page, such as score limits, time limits and votes, live in your server's server.cfg file.

Editing The Server Config

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Files and open the main folder.
  3. 3
Open server.cfg and change the values you want, for example set scr_war_scorelimit "1000".
  4. 4
Save the file and start your server.
SettingWhat it does
scr_war_scorelimitScore to win Team Deathmatch
scr_war_timelimitMinutes per Team Deathmatch map, 0 for no limit
scr_sd_roundlimitRounds per Search and Destroy map, 0 for no limit
scr_teambalance1 keeps teams even
g_allowvote1 lets players call votes

Each game type has its own limits, named after it: war, dm, sd, dom, koth and sab.

Note

The server name, password, slots, RCON password, game type, map rotation, hardcore, friendly fire, killcam and server list token come from the Settings page and override anything you write for them in server.cfg.
