How To Add Custom Maps To Your Call of Duty World at War Server

World at War has a huge library of community maps, for multiplayer and for Zombies. Multiplayer maps run as a mod, Zombies maps go in the usermaps folder.

Adding A Multiplayer Map

  1. 1
Download the map and unzip it on your computer. You should get a folder, for example mp_mymap, with a mod.ff file and usually .iwd files.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files and open the mods folder.
  4. 4
Upload the map's folder, so you end up with mods/mp_mymap/mod.ff.
  5. 5
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  6. 6
Under Modding, change Mod to Custom and type the folder name, for example mp_mymap, in Custom Mod Folder.
  7. 7
Under Gameplay, add the map's name to Map Rotation, for example mp_mymap mp_castle.
  8. 8
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

If the map comes as .ff files without a mod.ff, put them inside the folder of a custom mod you already run.

Adding A Zombies Map

  1. 1
Download the map and unzip it on your computer. You should get a folder named after the map, for example nazi_zombie_mymap, with .ff files and sometimes an .iwd file.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files and open the usermaps folder.
  4. 4
Upload the map's folder, so you end up with usermaps/nazi_zombie_mymap/nazi_zombie_mymap.ff.
  5. 5
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  6. 6
Under Gameplay, add the map's name to Zombies Maps, for example nazi_zombie_mymap.
  7. 7
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Note

Players who don't have the map download it automatically when they join, using your server's built-in fast downloads.
