Your admin password lets you log in as admin while you play on your Far Cry 2 server, to kick players, skip maps and manage the match. Your server already has a random admin password; here's how to set your own and use it.
Setting Your Admin Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Basic, editAdmin Passwordand enter the password you want, at least 8 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Running Admin Commands In Game
- 1Join your server.
- 2Press the
~key to open the console. - 3Type
admin_login yourpasswordwith yourAdmin Password, then pressEnter. - 4Run commands with
admin_setsetting, for exampleadmin_setsetting net_SkipMap 1.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
admin_setsetting net_SkipMap 1 | Skips to the next map |
admin_setsetting net_RestartMatch 1 | Restarts the match |
admin_setsetting net_EndMatch 1 | Ends the match |
admin_setsetting net_ShuffleTeams 1 | Shuffles the teams |
admin_setsetting net_KickClient <name> | Kicks a player |
admin_setsetting net_KickBanClient <name> | Kicks and bans a player |
admin_logout | Logs you out as admin |
Using The Console
You can also type commands straight into the Console page in Bropanel, no password needed. Leave out admin_setsetting and the 1, for example:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
net_GetPlayerList | Lists the players on the server |
net_KickClient <name> | Kicks a player |
net_KickBanClient <name> | Kicks and bans a player |
net_SkipMap | Skips to the next map |
net_EndMatch | Ends the match |
Caution
Keep console commands under about 290 characters. A longer line stops the server from reading the console until it restarts.
Settings you change with commands last until your server restarts. To keep a change, make it in Settings instead.
