This is what you do if you need to change the gamemode on your Garry's Mod server. Your server only comes with sandbox (the default) and terrortown (Trouble in Terrorist Town). Any other gamemode, such as DarkRP or Prop Hunt, needs to be added to your server first.

Adding a Gamemode

The easiest way to add a gamemode is through a Workshop collection. To upload a gamemode manually instead:

Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.

In the sidebar, go to Files and navigate to garrysmod/gamemodes/.

Upload your gamemode's folder.

Start your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Advanced, find the Gamemode setting and enter the gamemode's folder name, for example terrortown or darkrp.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Most gamemodes are made for their own maps, such as the ttt_ maps for Trouble in Terrorist Town, so you may also need to change your map.
