How to Create a Map Cycle on Your Opposing Force Server

Creating custom map cycles is an important step of customizing your Opposing Force server. This guide will show you how to create your own map rotation.

Editing mapcycle.txt

Your server ships with a default mapcycle.txt containing every official Opposing Force map. Follow these easy steps to customize the rotation:

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Files and enter gearbox.
  3. 3
Edit mapcycle.txt to add or remove maps, then click save.
  4. 4
    Start your server.

The maps that get added to this file are found in /gearbox/maps/.
