RCON lets you run server commands from the game console while you play: kick players, change maps and change settings. Your server already has a random RCON password; here's how to set your own and use it.

Setting Your RCON Password

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under RCON, edit RCON Password.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The password must be at least 8 characters and can only use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores.

Using RCON In Game

Join your server.

Press the ~ key to open the console.

Type rcon_password yourpassword with your RCON Password, then press Enter.

Run commands with rcon in front, for example rcon status, rcon kickid 3 or rcon changelevel jb_airship.

rcon status lists the players with their user ids, which kickid uses. You can also type commands without rcon in the Console page of Bropanel.
