Here is how you can join your Killing Floor 2 dedicated server. You need the Steam version of Killing Floor 2, kept up to date. Players on the Epic Games Store version can join too, but they can't download Workshop maps and mods, so they can only play on stock maps.
Connecting From The Server Browser
- 1Start Killing Floor 2 and open the
Server Browserfrom the main menu. - 2Search for your server name, or sort the list by name.
- 3Select your server and click
Join Game. If you set a server password, enter it when asked.
Note
It can take a few minutes for a new server to appear in the list after it starts. You can also try joining by IP while the listing updates.
Connecting With The IP Address
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your Killing Floor 2 server.
- 2Copy the server IP address and port from the
Overviewpage, for example123.45.67.89:7777. - 3Start Killing Floor 2 and press
F3at the main menu to open the console. - 4Type
open 123.45.67.89:7777with your own IP and port, then pressEnter.
If your server has a password, add it to the end: open 123.45.67.89:7777?password=yourpassword.
Players who don't have your server's Workshop map yet download it from Steam automatically while joining.
