You join an Onset server with the Onset game on Steam for Windows. Your server always runs the current Onset version, so make sure your game is up to date in Steam. Scripts, maps and other files your server's packages use download automatically when you join.
Connecting From the Server Browser
- 1Launch Onset from Steam.
- 2Open the server list from the main menu.
- 3Search for your server by its name and double-click it to join.
- 4If you set a server password, enter it when the game asks.
Note
It can take a few minutes for a new server to appear in the server list after it starts. Joining by IP always works.
Connecting With the IP Address
Onset joins a server by IP through Steam launch options.
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your Onset server.
- 2Copy the server IP address and port from the
Overviewpage, for example123.45.67.89:7777. - 3In your Steam library, right-click
Onsetand chooseProperties. - 4Under
Launch Options, enter-ConnectAddress=123.45.67.89 -ConnectPort=7777with your own IP and port. Add-ConnectPassword=yourpasswordif your server has a password. - 5Close the window and launch Onset. It connects straight to your server.
Clear the launch options afterwards so Onset opens the main menu again next time.
