Sync Player Homes syncs the chests and displays in player homes, and in other places whose containers never reset, so the party on your Skyrim Together server shares them. It's off by default, so each player's home storage stays their own and safe to use for long-term storage.
Caution
Skyrim doesn't keep items in most containers for good, and synced home chests aren't a reliable place to store items either: with this setting on, items kept in them can go missing. Leave it off if players keep their things at home.
