How to Switch Your Terraria Server Version

This guide will help you switch between different versions of Terraria on your Terraria server, including switching to tModLoader for modded gameplay.

Switching Server Versions

    Log in to the Game Host Bros Panel and Stop your Terraria server.

    In the sidebar, go to Startup Parameters.
  3. 3
    Under Version, find Server Type and select your desired version.
    • Vanilla
    • tModLoader (Required for mods)
  4. 4
    Go to Console and Start your server.
Note

When switching server versions, your existing server will be archived to a folder named Backups.
