How To Add Custom Maps To Your Trackmania Server

Your server can play any Trackmania track file (.Map.Gbx), including tracks you built in the editor and tracks from Trackmania Exchange. Here's how to add them.

Uploading Custom Maps

  1. 1
Get the track's .Map.Gbx file. Tracks you built yourself are in the Maps\My Maps folder of your Trackmania folder in Documents.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files and open UserData/Maps/My Maps.
  4. 4
    Upload the .Map.Gbx files.
  5. 5
Open UserData/Maps/MatchSettings and open your match settings file, example.txt unless you changed Match Settings File in Settings.
  6. 6
Add a line for each track with its path inside UserData/Maps, for example <map><file>My Maps/Winter Cup.Map.Gbx</file></map>, and remove the tracks you don't want.
  7. 7
Save the file and start your server.

The server plays the tracks in the order they're listed. Players don't need the tracks themselves: their game downloads them when they join.

Note

If the console shows Map "..." not found., the path in your match settings file doesn't match the uploaded file. Check the folder and the file name, including capital letters. The server skips that track and plays the rest.
