How To Add Custom Maps To Your Unreal Tournament 2004 Server

Unreal Tournament 2004 has thousands of community maps. Here's how to add them to your server.

Uploading Custom Maps

  1. 1
Download the map and unzip it on your computer. You'll usually get a .ut2 map file and sometimes extra files such as .utx, .usx, .uax, .ukx or .u.
  2. 2
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  3. 3
In the sidebar, go to Files.
  4. 4
Upload each file to its folder:
    • .ut2 files go in Maps
    • .utx files go in Textures
    • .usx files go in StaticMeshes
    • .uax files go in Sounds
    • .ukx files go in Animations
    • .u, .int and .ucl files go in System
  5. 5
    Start your server.

To play the map, enter its name in Map or pick it in Web Admin.

Note

Players who don't have the map download it from your server when they join. For faster downloads, set up a download redirect.
