How To Whitelist Players On Your VEIN Server

A whitelist allows you to control exactly who can join your VEIN server. When enabled, only players whose Steam IDs are on the whitelist will be able to connect. All others will be denied access.

Setting Up the Whitelist

   Log in to Bropanel and Stop your VEIN server.

   In the sidebar, go to Files.

   Open /Vein/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini and add the section [/Script/Vein.VeinGameStateBase] if it doesn't exist.

   Add your SteamID64 to WhitelistedPlayers=. For multiple players, create a new line for each entry:

   WhitelistedPlayers=76561198106341655
   WhitelistedPlayers=76561198106341655 (Create a new line with `WhitelistedPlayers=` to add additional players)
   WhitelistedPlayers=76561198106341655

   Start your server.

Removing the Whitelist

To disable the whitelist and allow anyone to join:

   Log in to Bropanel and Stop your VEIN server.

   In the sidebar, go to Files.

   Open /Vein/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini.

   Remove all WhitelistedPlayers= entries from the [/Script/Vein.VeinGameStateBase] section.

   Start your server.
