How To Become Referee On Your Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Server

A referee can restart matches, change maps, lock and shuffle teams and pause the game without full server access. It is the usual way to run clan matches.

Setting Your Referee Password

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Basic, edit Referee Password.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The password can only use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores. Clear the field to turn referee logins off.

Becoming Referee In Game

Join your server.

Press the ~ key to open the console.

Type /ref yourpassword with your Referee Password, then press Enter.

Type /ref on its own to see the referee commands, for example /ref restart or /ref map goldrush.
