How To Keep Your ARK: Survival Ascended Server Updated

With automatic updates on, your ARK: Survival Ascended server checks Steam for a new version every time it starts or restarts and installs it before the game loads. Players can't join a server on an older version than their game, so keep it on.

To update your server, make sure Auto Update is on and restart it. The console shows the download progress while an update installs.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Under Updates, enable or disable Auto Update.

    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Mods update on every restart whether Auto Update is on or off.
