Your server downloads Steam Workshop mods by their mod id when it starts, and players get them automatically when they join.
Finding A Mod Id
Natural Selection 2 uses short mod ids such as 706d242 for the Shine admin mod. The mod id is the number in the mod's Steam Workshop address, converted to hexadecimal. For example, Shine's page ends in ?id=117887554, and 117887554 in hexadecimal is 706d242. Many mod pages also list the short id in their description.
Adding Mods
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Modding, enter your mod ids inWorkshop Mods, separated by spaces or commas, for example706d242. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
The server downloads the mods during startup, so the first start after adding a mod can take a little longer. To remove a mod, delete its id from Workshop Mods and click Save & Restart.
