How To Connect To Your Team Fortress 2 Classified Server

Here is how you can join your Team Fortress 2 Classified server. Your server runs the current Steam version of Team Fortress 2 Classified and keeps itself updated.

Tip

Players need two free games from Steam: Team Fortress 2 Classified and Team Fortress 2, which it is built on. Keep both updated in Steam so your game matches the server.

Connecting With The IP Address

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your Team Fortress 2 Classified server.
  2. 2
Copy the server IP address and port from the Overview page, for example 123.45.67.89:27015.
  3. 3
Open Team Fortress 2 Classified and press the ~ key to open the developer console. If it doesn't open, turn on Enable developer console in Options under Keyboard and Advanced.
  4. 4
Type connect 123.45.67.89:27015 with your own IP and port, then press Enter.

If your server has a password, type password yourpassword in the console before you connect.

Connecting From The Server Browser

  1. 1
Open Team Fortress 2 Classified and open the server browser.
  2. 2
    Search for your server name.
  3. 3
    Double-click your server to join.

Note

It can take a few minutes for a new server to appear in the server browser after it starts. Joining by IP always works.

Adding Your Server To Favorites

  1. 1
Open Steam and at the top click View and then Game Servers.
  2. 2
Click Favorites, then the plus (+) icon, and enter your server IP and port.
  3. 3
Select your server and click Connect.
