SourceMod adds admin tools, map votes and thousands of community plugins to your Team Fortress 2 Classified server. Your server installs it for you with one switch.
Turning On SourceMod
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Modding, enableSourceMod. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Your server installs the latest SourceMod and MetaMod:Source development builds, which are the versions Team Fortress 2 Classified supports. While Automatic Updates is on, a restart also updates them when a newer build comes out. Your plugins and configs are kept.
To turn SourceMod off, disable SourceMod and click Save & Restart. Your plugins and configs stay in place for when you turn it back on.
Installing Plugins
Becoming An Admin
- 1Log in to Bropanel and
Stopyour server. - 2In the sidebar, go to
Files. - 3Open
tf2classified/addons/sourcemod/configs/admins_simple.ini. - 4Add a line with your Steam ID and
"99:z", for example"STEAM_0:1:12345678" "99:z", then save the file. - 5Start your server.
Join your server and type sm_admin in the console to open the admin menu.
Caution
Team Fortress 2 Classified is not stock Team Fortress 2. Plugins that need TF2-only extensions, such as TF2 Tools or TF2Items, won't work. Plugins built for any Source game generally work.
