How To Update Your Team Fortress 2 Classified Server

By default, Game Host Bros Team Fortress 2 Classified servers check Steam for a new Team Fortress 2 Classified update whenever they restart and download only the files that changed, so your server stays up to date. Your configs, maps and settings are kept.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

While Automatic Updates is on, your server checks Steam every time it starts, so a restart installs a new update once it comes out. It also watches Steam while it runs: when a new Team Fortress 2 Classified update comes out, it warns players in chat and restarts to install it. Players need the same version to join, so keep it on unless you have a reason not to. With it off, your server stays on the version it has; turn it back on and restart to update.
