How To Enable Crossplay On Your Valheim Server

In this guide you will learn how to enable crossplay on your Valheim server. This will allow you to play with players on PC Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Valheim 1.0 Deep North update, released on September 9, 2026, brought the game to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 and added full crossplay between every platform.

Enabling Crossplay

   Log in to Bropanel.

   In the sidebar, go to Settings.

   Under Advanced, enable Crossplay.

   Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Disabling Crossplay

You can switch crossplay off yourself at any time, there is no need to contact support.

   Turn Crossplay off and apply the change.

   Wait about 15 minutes, then restart your server. This gives it time to re-register with the Microsoft servers.
