How To Change Max Players On Your Assetto Corsa Server

Your Assetto Corsa server holds as many drivers as the smaller of two numbers: MAX_CLIENTS in cfg/server_cfg.ini, and the number of car slots in cfg/entry_list.ini. New servers hold 18 drivers.

Changing Max Players

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Files and open the cfg folder.
  3. 3
Click server_cfg.ini, set MAX_CLIENTS to the number of drivers you want, for example MAX_CLIENTS=24, and click Save.
  4. 4
Click entry_list.ini and make sure it has at least that many [CAR_n] blocks. To add a slot, copy the last block and raise its number by one, for example [CAR_24] after [CAR_23].
  5. 5
Click Save and restart your server.

Number the blocks from [CAR_0] up without skipping a number, because your server stops reading the entry list at the first missing number. If MAX_CLIENTS is more than the slots in the entry list, the console says MAX_CLIENTS is now set to: followed by the number of drivers your server will take.

Note

Each track has a set number of pit boxes, which is the most cars it can hold. Check your track's pit boxes, listed with its details in Content Manager, before adding more slots.
