Here are some common issues with your Assetto Corsa server and how to fix them. Your server's console in Bropanel shows the messages quoted below.
Server Stops With "car ... is illegal"
If the console shows a message like Error, entry list CAR_0 car ks_toyota_gt86 is illegal, a car in cfg/entry_list.ini isn't in the CARS list of cfg/server_cfg.ini. Add the car to CARS, or change that car's MODEL in the entry list. See Change Track and Cars.
Server Shuts Down With "LOBBY COULD NOT BE RACHED"
When your server starts, it registers with Kunos' public server list. If that fails six times in a row, your server shuts itself down about 30 seconds after starting, with LOBBY COULD NOT BE RACHED, SHUTTING SERVER DOWN in the console. Kunos' list may be down, or it couldn't reach your server, which shows as CHECK YOUR PORT FORWARDING SETTINGS.
To keep your server running in the meantime, open cfg/server_cfg.ini in Files, change REGISTER_TO_LOBBY=1 to REGISTER_TO_LOBBY=0 and start your server. It won't be in the server list, but players can join with Content Manager. If it keeps happening, open a support ticket.
Players Can't Join
Every player needs the track and all the cars your server uses. Tracks and cars from DLC need that DLC, and mod cars and tracks need the same version of the mod your server has. Players who can't find your server in the list can add it in Content Manager with its IP and HTTP port.
Server Says It Has No HTTP Port
If the console shows This server has no HTTP port in its settings, your server is missing the port players use to find and join it. Open a support ticket and we'll add it.
Server Says Assetto Corsa Is Not Installed
If the console shows Assetto Corsa is not installed (acServer is missing), reinstall the game files as shown in Update Your Server. Your race settings and uploaded cars and tracks are kept.
