RCON lets you run server commands from inside the game, such as kicking players or changing the map. RCON is off until you set a password.

Setting Your RCON Password

Halo allows RCON passwords of up to 8 characters. Clear the field to turn RCON off again.

Using RCON In Game

Join your server.

Press the ~ key to open the console.

Type rcon followed by your password and a command, for example rcon yourpassword sv_players, then press Enter.

Some useful commands:

Command	What it does
`sv_players`	Lists players and their numbers
`sv_kick 3`	Kicks player number 3
`sv_ban 3`	Bans player number 3
`sv_map_next`	Skips to the next map
`sv_map bloodgulch ctf`	Changes to a map and game type now
