By default, Game Host Bros Night of the Dead servers check for a new version of the dedicated server whenever they restart and install it, so players on the latest game version can always join. Your worlds and settings are kept.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

If anyone is playing, save the world in game first.

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Updates, enable or disable Auto Update.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

While Auto Update is on, your server checks for updates every time it starts, so a restart picks up a new version once it comes out. With it off, your server stays on the version it has, and players on a newer game version can't join until you turn it back on and restart.
