How To Add Admins On Your SCP: Secret Laboratory Server

SCP: Secret Laboratory admins use the Remote Admin panel to kick, ban, spawn and manage players. Who gets access is set in your server's config_remoteadmin.txt. Your server's port is the number after the colon in its address on the Overview page, for example 7777.

Adding An Admin

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Files.
  3. 3
Open .config/SCP Secret Laboratory/config/<port>/config_remoteadmin.txt, using your server's port as the folder name.
  4. 4
Under Members:, replace the example lines with your admins, one per line: a space, a dash, a space, the player's SteamID64 followed by @steam, a colon, then the role. For example:
    Members:
     - 76561198012345678@steam: owner
     - 76561198087654321@steam: moderator

  5. 5
Save the file and restart your server.
.config
SCP Secret Laboratory
config
7777
config_remoteadmin.txt

Remove the example lines (SomeSteamId64@steam and the others), and use spaces, never tabs. Players can look up their SteamID64 online. The file also takes Discord user IDs with @discord, for example - 123456789012345678@discord: admin.

The file comes with the roles owner, admin and moderator. Their badges, colors and permissions are set further down in the same file.

Opening Remote Admin
