How To Change Max Players On Your SCP: Secret Laboratory Server

Max players sets how many players can be on your SCP: Secret Laboratory server at the same time. The default is 20. It's set in your server's config_gameplay.txt. Your server's port is the number after the colon in its address on the Overview page, for example 7777.

Changing Max Players

  1. 1
    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Files.
  3. 3
    Open .config/SCP Secret Laboratory/config/<port>/config_gameplay.txt, using your server's port as the folder name.

    Change the max_players line, for example: 
    max_players: 30
  5. 5
    Save the file and restart your server.

Northwood allows at most 60 slots on servers they have verified for the public server list.
