How To Update Your Black Mesa Server

By default, Game Host Bros Black Mesa servers check Steam for a game update every time they restart and install it, so your server stays on the same version as your players. Your configs, maps and plugins are kept.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Under Updates, enable or disable Auto Update.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

While Auto Update is on, a restart picks up a new version once Crowbar Collective releases it. With it off, your server stays on the version it has; turn it back on and restart to update.
