Every Don't Starve Together dedicated server needs a server token from Klei, the game's developer. The token links the server to your Klei account and lists it in the in-game server browser. Your server won't start without one, and tokens are free.

Getting Your Token

Go to Klei's game servers page and log in, for example with your Steam account.

Click Add New Server and give it a name. The name is only for your list on Klei's site; your server's name in the browser comes from Server Name.

Copy the server token it shows. It starts with pds-g^.

Adding The Token To Your Server

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Required, paste your token into Server Token.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

If the token is missing or Klei doesn't accept it, the server stops right after starting and the Console says so. Copy the token again from Klei's page, paste it in, and restart.

Create a separate token for each server you run, and never share it: anyone with your token can run a server under your Klei account.
