Here is how to join your Half-Life Deathmatch: Source server. Players need Half-Life Deathmatch: Source from Steam; no mods or extra downloads are required, and custom content downloads automatically when they join.
Connecting With The IP Address
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2Copy the server IP address and port from the
Overviewpage, for example123.45.67.89:27015. - 3Open Half-Life Deathmatch: Source and press the
~key to open the developer console. - 4Type
connect 123.45.67.89:27015with your own IP and port, then pressEnter.
If your server has a password, type password yourpassword in the console before you connect.
Tip
If the console does not open, go to Options, open the Keyboard tab, click Advanced and tick Enable developer console (~).
Adding Your Server To Favorites
- 1Open Half-Life Deathmatch: Source and click
Find Servers. - 2Open the
Favoritestab and clickAdd a Server. - 3Paste your server IP and port, then click
Add this address to favorites.
Your server also shows up in the Internet tab of the server browser, which can take a few minutes after it first starts.
