How To Update Your Half-Life Deathmatch: Source Server

By default, Game Host Bros Half-Life Deathmatch: Source servers check Steam for a game update every time they restart and install it, so your server stays on the same version as your players. Your configs, maps and plugins are kept.

Turning Automatic Updates On Or Off

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.

    Under Updates, enable or disable Automatic Updates.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

While Automatic Updates is on, a restart picks up a new version once Valve releases it. With it off, your server stays on the version it has.
