Here is how you can join your Longvinter dedicated server. You need Longvinter on Steam, updated to the latest version. No mods are needed to join.
Note
Your game must be on the same version as the server. Your server installs the newest update when it restarts (see Update Your Server), and Steam updates your game for you.
Connecting From the Server Browser
- 1Log in to Bropanel and check that your server shows as online.
- 2Open Longvinter and click
Server Browserin the main menu. - 3Search for your server name and select your server.
- 4Join the server. If you set a server password, enter it when asked.
Tip
A new server can take a minute or two to appear in the server browser after it starts. If you can't find it, clear any filters and refresh the list.
Connecting With the IP Address
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2Copy the server IP address and port from the
Overviewpage, for example123.45.67.89:7777. - 3Open Longvinter and click
Server Browserin the main menu. - 4Click
Connect by IPabove the server list. - 5Paste your IP address and port, then press
Enter.
Continue in the main menu takes you back to the last server you played on.
