How to Change the Version of Your Project Zomboid Server

If you don't want to play Project Zomboid on the latest public version and would rather play a different beta branch to play older versions, here's how to change the version of your Project Zomboid server.

When changing server versions, you must also change your Project Zomboid game version to match the version of your server.

Features from experimental versions are not expected to be supported on shared hosting as this is only a testing ground for the game developers. We officially only support the main, public branch of the game.

Danger

To avoid crashing, you should delete ALL files and folders in File Manager prior to reinstalling.
