How To Change Max Players On Your Quake II Server

Max players sets how many people can be on your Quake II server at once.

Changing Max Players

    Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

    In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under Basic, edit Max Players and enter a number from 1 to 256.
  4. 4
    Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Tip

The stock deathmatch maps play best with 4 to 16 players and Capture the Flag maps with up to 24. Team Deathmatch also limits players per team in its own settings; see Server Settings.
