RCON lets you run server commands from the game console while you play: kick players, change maps and change settings. Your server already has a random RCON password; here's how to set your own and use it.
Setting Your RCON Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
RCON, editRCON Password. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
The password must be at least 8 characters and can only use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores.
Using RCON In Game
- 1Join your server.
- 2Press the
~key to open the console. - 3Type
rcon_password yourpasswordwith yourRCON Password, then pressEnter. - 4Run commands with
rconin front, for examplercon status,rcon kick 3orrcon map q2dm2.
rcon status lists the players with their numbers, which kick uses. You can also type commands without rcon in the Console page of Bropanel.
