RCON lets you run admin commands on your Quake Live server, like changing the map or kicking a player. Quake Live doesn't support the classic rcon password from older Quake games, so there are two ways to do it on Game Host Bros.
Using The Bropanel Console
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your Quake Live server.
- 2Type your command into the console box at the bottom of the
Consolepage and press Enter, for examplemap campgrounds ffa.
Commands typed here go straight to the server, so they don't need a slash or a password.
Using RCON From In Game
With MinQLX you can send the same commands from in game chat with !rcon, for example !rcon map campgrounds ffa. Only the server owner and players with permission level 5 can use it.
- 1Make sure MinQLX is enabled and
essentialsis in yourMinQLX Pluginslist, following our install plugins guide. - 2Set yourself as the owner, or give your admins level 5, following our MinQLX permissions guide.
- 3Join your server and type
!rconfollowed by the command in chat.
Useful Commands

status | Lists the players on the server with their client IDs. |
reload_access | Reloads access.txt after you change your admins. |
