RCON (remote console) lets you run server commands from your game, such as changing settings or kicking players. Your server already has a random RCON password; here's how to set your own and use it.

Setting Your RCON Password

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under RCON, edit RCON Password.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

The password must be at least 8 characters and can only use letters, numbers, dashes and underscores.

Using RCON In Game

Open ezQuake and press ~ to open the console.

Type rcon_password yourpassword and press Enter.

Join your server, or type rcon_address 123.45.67.89:27500 with your own IP and port to use RCON without joining.

Put rcon in front of any server command, for example rcon status or rcon map dm6.

For admin rights while you play, such as forcing a match to start, the admin password is easier.
