By default, Game Host Bros Quake servers install the newest MVDSV server and KTX mod releases whenever they restart, so your server stays up to date. Your configs and maps are kept.

Updating Your Quake Server

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Updates, find the Auto Update toggle and make sure it's enabled.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Your server now checks for new releases every time it starts, and also downloads new or updated maps. Files you edited, such as ktx.cfg, are never overwritten. After a new release comes out, restart your server to install it. Turn Auto Update off if you want to stay on the version you have.
