How To Change The Version Of Your RimWorld Server

Your RimWorld server installs the newest release of its multiplayer mod by default. You can pick a specific release instead. Here's how.

Changing the Server Version

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Updates, edit Server Version and enter the release you want, for example 26.10.4.1. Enter latest for the newest release.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Your server installs that release when it restarts, as long as Automatic Updates is enabled. Your world, saves and configs are kept.

You can find RimWorld Together release numbers on its GitHub releases page. Open World's last release is v1.0.4.

Caution

Players need the same RimWorld Together version as your server, and Steam always gives them the newest one. Most servers should stay on latest.
