How To Block Mods On Your Open World RimWorld Server

With the mod blacklist on, your Open World server turns away players who run any mod in its Mods blacklisted folder. The server recognizes a mod by its .dll files, found in the mod's Assemblies folder.

Adding Mods to the Blacklist

  1. 1
On your PC, open the mod's folder. Steam Workshop mods are in steamapps/workshop/content/294100/, in a folder named after the mod's Workshop ID.
  2. 2
Find the mod's Assemblies folder. In mods made for several RimWorld versions, it is inside the 1.4 folder.
  3. 3
Log in to Bropanel and Stop your server.
  4. 4
In the sidebar, go to Files and navigate to Mods blacklisted/.
  5. 5
    Upload the mod's .dll files.
  6. 6
    Start your server.

Turning On the Mod Blacklist

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
    Under Modding, enable Mod Blacklist.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.
