Logging in as admin lets you kick and ban players, change maps and run admin commands while you play. Your server already has a random admin password; here's how to set your own and use it.
Setting Your Admin Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Basic, editAdmin Password. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
The admin password must be at least 6 characters and can't contain spaces, quotes or question marks. Admin Name under Basic is the user name for Web Admin and is shown to players as the server admin.
Logging In As Admin In Game
In Unreal you log in as admin by joining with your admin password instead of the server password.
- 1Open Unreal and go to
Multiplayer>Open Location. - 2Enter
unreal://123.45.67.89:7777?password=youradminpasswordwith your own IP, port andAdmin Password, then clickOK.
The admin password also lets you in when the server has a server password. Once you're on, press Tab and use admin followed by a command, for example admin servertravel DmFith. To kick a player, type admin kick PlayerName.
Tip
The same Admin Name and Admin Password log you in to Web Admin, where you can manage the server from your browser.
