How To Change The Map Cycle On Your Far Cry Server

The map cycle is the list of maps your server plays, in order. The server starts on the first map, moves to the next one when a map ends, and starts again from the first after the last.

Changing The Map Cycle

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Gameplay, edit Map Cycle. Enter map names separated by spaces or commas, for example mp_px_dam mp_px_jungle mp_px_dune.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

To play one map only, enter just that map. Leave the field empty to play every standard map of your Game Type:

AssaultTeam Deathmatch and Free for All
mp_px_airstripmp_cliffside
mp_px_dammp_monkeybay
mp_px_dunemp_monkeybay_n
mp_px_freightermp_radio
mp_px_junglemp_surf
mp_px_mangoriver

Far Cry also comes with older versions of some Assault maps without px in the name, such as mp_freighter and mp_jungle.

Note

Maps your server doesn't have, or that don't have your game type, are left out of the cycle, and the console says which ones. To play community maps, add them to your server first.
