This is what you do if you need to set a password on your Far Cry server. Setting a password is an easy way to ensure that only authorized players can join your server.
Setting Your Far Cry Server Password
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
- 2In the sidebar, go to
Settings. - 3Under
Basic, findServer Passwordand then type the password you want. - 4Click
Save & Restartto apply your changes.
Far Cry allows passwords of up to 28 characters. Players enter it with \cl_password in the game console before they join, as shown in connecting to your server. To make your server public again, clear the Server Password field and click Save & Restart.
