Here is how you can join your Fistful of Frags dedicated server. Your server runs the current Steam version of Fistful of Frags and keeps itself updated, so players only need the game from Steam, fully updated. No mods are needed to join.
Tip
Fistful of Frags is free on Steam for Windows and Linux, so anyone on those systems can join your server.
Connecting From The Server Browser
- 1Open Fistful of Frags and click
Find Servers. - 2Open the
Internettab and wait for the list to load. - 3Find your server name in the list. Typing part of the name in the filter box helps if the list is long.
- 4Double-click your server to join. If you set a server password, enter it when asked.
Note
It can take a few minutes for a new server to appear in the server browser after it starts. Joining by IP always works.
Connecting With The IP Address
- 1Log in to Bropanel and select your Fistful of Frags server.
- 2Copy the server IP address and port from the
Overviewpage, for example123.45.67.89:27015. - 3Open Fistful of Frags and press the
~key to open the console. If the console doesn't open, turn onEnable developer consoleunderOptions>Keyboard>Advanced. - 4Type
connect 123.45.67.89:27015with your own IP and port, then pressEnter.
If your server has a password, type password yourpassword in the console before you connect.
