How To Change The Default Player Permission On Your Subnautica Server

The default player permission decides which commands players can use on your Subnautica server.

PermissionWhat players can do
NONENo commands.
PLAYERBasic commands such as /help, /list and /whisper. This is the default.
MODERATORAlso kick, mute and teleport players, and use Subnautica's cheat console.
ADMINEverything a moderator can, plus server commands such as changing the game mode.
CONSOLEEvery command, the same as the server console.

Changing the Default Permission

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Gameplay, set Default Player Permission to the permission you want.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Every player gets this permission each time they join. Anything higher than PLAYER applies to everyone who joins, so keep PLAYER unless you trust all of them. To make only yourself an admin, keep PLAYER and log in with your admin password.
