How To Set A Password On Your Subnautica Server

A server password keeps your Subnautica server private, so only players you share it with can join. Here's how to set one.

Setting a Server Password

  1. 1
Log in to Bropanel and select your server.
  2. 2
In the sidebar, go to Settings.
  3. 3
Under Basic, edit Server Password and type the password players must enter.
  4. 4
Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

To make your server public again, clear Server Password and click Save & Restart.

Players enter the password when Nitrox asks for it, after they click your server in the list and before they enter their player name. See Connect to Your Server for the full steps.
