If you want to make your server private, adding a whitelist will be the easiest way to do so. Once enabled, players must have their username added to the whitelist in order to join your Minecraft server. This is what you do if you need to add a whitelist to your Minecraft server.
Adding Players to the Whitelist
- 1Log in to the Game Host Bros panel.
- 2Select your server.
- 3Go to
Console. - 4Type
whitelist add Username.
Enabling and Reloading the Whitelist
While still in Console, enter these commands to enable and reload your server's whitelist.
- 1Type
whitelist on. - 2Type
whitelist reload. - 3Restart your server.
You can type whitelist list to view your whitelist, and whitelist off to disable it.
Tip
To remove players from your whitelist, enter the command whitelist remove [Username] and then whitelist reload.
