How to Set Your Minecraft Server to Creative Mode

Creative mode gives players infinite blocks, instant breaking, and flight - perfect for building and testing redstone contraptions. This is what you do if you want to set your Minecraft server to creative mode by default.

Setting Your Server To Creative Mode

    Access the Game Host Bros panel and stop your Minecraft server.

    Go to File Manager.
  3. 3
    Open server.properties, set gamemode= to creative, and then click save.

    Start your server.

Setting A Player To Creative Mode

    Connect to your server.

    Access the Game Host Bros panel and select your Minecraft server.
  3. 3
    Go to Console.
  4. 4
    Enter gamemode creative YourUsername into your server's console.
Tip

If you're already an OP/Admin on your server, you can enter /gamemode creative into the in-game chat.
