How to Change View Distance on Your Minecraft Server

This is what you do if you want to change the view distance on your Minecraft server. View distance controls how many chunks are visible to players around them.

Changing View Distance

Log in to Bropanel and select your server.

In the sidebar, go to Settings.

Under Advanced, set View Distance to your desired value.

Click Save & Restart to apply your changes.

Tip

The default view distance is 10, and has a minimum of 2. Higher values provide better visibility but use more server resources. Lower values improve performance.
